UK-2000 Under Saddle Transducer (UST)
The UK-2000 3-band EQ UST pickup is definitely a user friendly system to
install and use as a player. It is used
exclusively by Bushman Ukulele so I call it the Bushman. It has a battery pack that allows you to change the 9V battery from the outside--a big plus over the Shadow or other active UST systems which you have
to change the battery through the sound hole. It has a better quality technology
as well with capability to pickup all strings evenly, especially high-pitched strings.
